There are a million moving components to planning a wedding. Everything needs to tie together, fit within a certain theme, look, and budget. All while taking in another million things into consideration. I didn’t love chasing folks down for RSVP’s, or make a million adjustments to a seating chart, or answer a million logistical questions.
What I did love, was planning out the small details, and subtle touches to our wedding that would make it elegant and wonderful.
THE JEWISH DETAILS
Kept as simple as possible. A mix of high-tops and 60″ rounds for guests to dig into their lamb chops and blood orange margaritas. Welcome sign and gift box was moved from the ceremony into the cocktail hour. For escort cards, we had a nice medley of mini 2″ potted succulents. Because in Arizona…
AND, I had photos of my late grandparents printed and framed.
THE NAKED CAKE
My beautiful, and perfect four tiered naked cake. Oh my goodness. When I saw this cake, I almost cried. My baker totally comprehended the look I was going for, and executed it to perfection. Not only that, but it actually tasted delicious. People who don’t like wedding cake ended up eating 2+ pieces (Mo, I’m talking about you…)
